WSCR is a program to solve word jumbles, print all permutations of a string, and print pseudo-anagrams. It will use /usr/dict/words or a user-specified wordlist file. I recommend web2 from the GNU miscfiles package as an alternate wordlist.

I wrote this so I could cheat at those word puzzles in the newspaper, it probably isn't useful for much else. You can download WSCR here .

There is a version for Windows and DOS systems here. This version comes with a wordlist since Windows does not include one. Once you unpack the Zip file the program should be run from the command prompt. The file wscr.doc has instructions on how to run the program.

If you like this software I would appreciate a donation through PayPal.
